What this is
The quarterly membership of The Idolaters. One original oil painting hangs in your home, and every quarter it is exchanged for another. It is lent to you, not sold and not rented towards ownership; it stays mine until you buy it.
Which work comes to you is drawn by lot, the same way for every member, and you never get a work you have had before. The works that go out on loan are the canvases of 100 by 80 and 80 by 60 cm.

What goes in the basket
The first time, this line and the deposit go in together. They stay two lines, so the deposit can be returned on its own.
After that you pay one quarter at a time. I send you a request by email ahead of each Switch Day; nothing is collected automatically and there is no direct debit. Checkout asks for the address the work will hang at, and there is nothing to pay for delivery.
If you decide a work is not going back, what you paid over your last four quarters comes off the price, and the deposit may come off as well.
