Who is Natalee?
Natalee is a model and designer who works under the name @007natalee and publishes her own work to an audience of several million on Instagram.
She signed with M Models Agency in 2018 and has worked with brands including Guess and Fashion Nova. Since 2019 she has also performed as a DJ.
This summary is put together from publicly available sources and has not been checked with her. If something here is wrong or she would rather it were not here, write to the studio and it is corrected or removed.
Painting Natalee in the studio
The blue in Natalee (Blue Light) is mine. There was none of it anywhere near the photograph. Everything difficult about that canvas came out of that single decision, and most of the work sits in the places where you are not meant to notice it. If you find them, you will know exactly how long it took. It comes from the early group, when I was still finding out what held my attention.
Natalee (White Top) is the same pose under the opposite rule: nothing in it was invented. No light I put there, no colour added to see what it would do. Just the figure, as it came.
I painted both. I still cannot decide which of the two I would keep, and I have hung them next to each other more than once trying to settle it.
They are also the two smallest canvases in the series, at 70 x 50 cm and 50 x 30 cm. Small canvases, days of work each, and each one stopped when I was finished with it.
Natalee paintings: what exists
Oil on stretched canvas, signed, one of one, from Painted Idols. There is no print of either.
What is still available, and at what price, is on the cards below.
