Who is Dailey Danique?

Dailey Danique is a Dutch model and content creator who works under her own name and manages her own channels.

She appeared on the SBS6 programme Lang Leve de Liefde in 2023, was a guest on the podcast Met Antoinette naar Bed in 2024, and appears in the second season of Dames in de Dop on Prime Video in 2025.

Painting Dailey Danique in the studio

Dailey (Illustrated) is a painting about lines that already exist, which is a harder problem than inventing them. Get a line wrong where the body turns and the whole thing sits on top of her like a sticker instead of following the form underneath. That is where the weeks went, and it is the only part of this painting I would want you to look at twice.

Days at a time over several weeks, with long stretches of nothing in between. I do not sketch and I have no picture in my head of where a canvas is going. It stopped when I was finished with it.

Oil on stretched canvas, 100 x 80 cm, signed, one of one, from Painted Idols -- a series of oil portraits of women whose own image is their work. A hand-signed print exists in a small edition that is never reprinted; the painting itself stays one of a kind.
